MAC eye shadows "naked lunch" & "sable".

I just recently bought two of MAC's neutral eye shadows (naked lunch & sable). I use the naked lunch eye shadow as a base all over my hightlight & brow bone area. I love this eye shadow, it's tied with my Gleam eye shadow.
Sable is a beautiful brown/bronze-ish shimmery eye shadow. I have quite a few dark brown eye shadows and was looking for a medium shade of brown and this eye shadow is perfect. I'm very pleased with my purchases.

I used "naked lunch" all over hightlight and brow bone and "sable" around my crease and outer v area.

In the lids I used a golden color from coastal scents. And I use "ricepaper" from MAC as my hightlight.

NYC Visit.

The whole family went to New York on October 6 - 14th. The reason we decided to go was because my lovely mother bought me a car. We only had one car and Gabe would use it to get to work and the kids and I would be stuck at home all day. My mom has been there and understood our circumstances wanted to surprise me and bought me a car. I was truly surprised and beyond grateful. That woman is amazing!

The NY visit turned into a family reunion. Both my brothers came up with their daughters and finances. It was nice seeing everyone, together. We did a little bit of sight seeing and shopping in the city (like a tourist, lol). A big group walking and getting around the city was a task! I missed the NY life. I felt like I was home but its way too expensive to live there. It's good to visit when we can. We were also able to see Gabe's family. They love our kids!

I was happy to spend time with my grandparents as well and I was able to see my little cousins that's not so little anymore. They've grown up so much. Last time I've seen them was 10 years ago. *Sigh...family reunions can be a hit or miss. This time it was amazing.

Gabe was being such charmer. We had a date night in Midtown at this small, intimate restaurant (The Place). And decided to stay at The Lexington Hotel. It was wonderful to squeeze in a date night in our busy week in NY. My sister and brothers were elated to watch the kids for us. It was a win - win outcome.

fast & easy way for a natural tan

I'm a mother of 3 and sometimes, well most of the time, I don't have the luxury to sunbathe when I please. So, the next best thing to get a little color fast is a self tanning lotion. I've tried many and I absolutely love the Banana Boat - Summer Color Self Tanning Lotion.

I use the light/medium coverage. I usually add two coats and my color looks FAB! I prefer a self tanning lotion better than a spray. I feel that a lotion spreads more evenly than a spray. And in my opinion, a self tanning lotion looks more natural than orangy! We don't want to look like an orange martian, now do we?

Whenever I use this, many people assume I went on a vacation. When I tell them it's a self tanning lotion, they are surprised and want to know which one :)

Let's get our tan on!!

My Daily Facial Treatment

I always get random people, stop me and ask me "what do you do to have such beautiful skin?" or "you have such clear skin. What do you use?"

Before being a mom, I used ONLY soap and warm water and that was that. But I noticed a change in my skin after having my kids. My nose and chin became oily during the summer and during the winter time my face would get so dry. So, browsing around target. I cam across a Neutrogena cleanser. I was hesitate to buy it but I gave it a try. And out of all the face cleanser by far this is the best one for me. I noticed the difference after a few days. I barely broke out with both the cleanser (power-clear scrub) & hydrating acne treatment. But lately, this summer I was breaking out a lot and now add stress to that, you can just imagine my disappointment. My chin has seen better days *sigh. I still used my neutrogena acne control cleanser and my acne control treatment everyday but when I break out bad, I will also, use my origin mask and honestly the next day my pimples decreased dramatically. I was happy with the results!

  • Okay, ladies...if you don't have a bad breakout you can use JUST the power-clear scrub and the 3-in-1 hydrating acne treatment once a day.

  • When you have a bad breakout, this is what I do. First, the power-clear scrub then the Origins mask and last thing, I use the 3-in-1 hydrating acne treatment. I would use the mask every night until my acne decreases. By day two I see a dramatic change!

  • This is my favorite moisturizer.

  • And these pore strips works GREAT.

5 months old.

I am so late to post this but with the move and all, has taken up all my time. But  it's better late than never, right? Sayuri started sitting on her own without support, rolling over like a pro, and her all time favorite thing to do is playing with her feet. This little girl loves to eat. She barely makes faces when she eats puree food. She's just growing up in lightening speed and I'm not happy. But I must say, I am enjoying every second with her. She's such a calm baby; very easy going.

GA Aquarium

Saturday night, Gabe's job invited us to a business dinner party at the GA Aquarium. They rented a ballroom by a big fish tank. It was beautiful. We had the chance to explore the whole aquarium before the dinner for free I was so happy we made it to the last dolphin show. Last time we went we missed it. But this time we saw it and let me tell you it was so comical with the singing and acting. The expressions was a bit much. It's definitely for the kids. But the dolphins were amazing!!! I enjoyed it. My kids would have loved it. We need to take all of them. Aww, our family of 5!

At 6 pm we went to the ballroom and I meet all of my husband's coworkers. They were all nice. I was beyond flattered. All night, I was getting compliments (people couldn't believe i gave birth to 3 kids and especially having a recent baby) and a few people saying how "lucky" my husband is to have a catch like me. Strange I never see it like that, I'm very fortunate to have an amazing man by my side. My husband always tells me people asks him how he got me LOL. We compliment each other.

All evening we drank, talked, walked around the aquarium, took some pictures, and danced. It was such a lovely night. Of course, Gabe dragged me to the dance floor to break the ice. No one wanted to dance until we danced. It was kind of nice just us two dancing alone. Gabe was being so sweet. He told me to imagine it being out first dance at our wedding reception that we never had (we eloped at a very young age). This man is truly wonderful. And it kind of felt like it was just the two of us. He made it romantic.

Oh! The band that was playing was so good. The lead singer had such a unique voice and she's a total sweetheart! Check them out: Ruby Velle & The Soulphonics.

18 months old.

Nozomi is such a lovable little girl. You can already see her personality shining through. She's caring yet she has a strong persona. She's tough but she can be so sensitive as well, especially with daddy. She's such a fast learner, all thanks to her big brother. And she truly loves her baby sister. I watch her closely whenever she's near her sister. She kisses her as much as she wants. And if her baby sister is on the swing, she'll caress her, brings her a blanket or pacificer or a toy. It's the cutest thing to see. It's amazing how much this girl knows. I am very fortunate to have 3 amazing kids.
